Thank you for choosing to book Gwalia or Hafan, our self- catering holiday cottages near, Llansteffan. We look forward to welcoming you. When you make this booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below:


The price of the accommodation includes the following: bed linen and towels, tea towels; electricity, hot water, central heating. We will also provide: toilet paper(one per toilet), washing-up liquid, dish cloths, soap. This is self-catering accommodation: no food or drink is provided and no maid service is available during your stay. If you stay for two weeks, your bed-linen and towels will be changed half way through your stay.

Payment Details:

For all bookings we require a non-refundable 25% deposit to confirm the booking. You must make sure that this reaches us within 4 days of making the booking.
We will send you an email or letter confirming the booking and letting you know what the outstanding balance is. The balance must then be paid at least 6 weeks before the start of the holiday.
All bookings only become firm when the deposit is received and cleared.
For holidays which are to take place within 5 weeks of making the booking, the full balance is due on booking. If payment is not received by the times specified above the booking will be deemed to have lapsed. Bookings are considered provisional until the required deposit is paid, however you will still be bound by these Terms and Conditions and also by your contract with us.
Non-payment of the balance of the rent on or before the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by you, with the forfeit of the deposit.
The person booking (Party Leader) must be at least 18 years of age and have the requisite legal capability and authority to enter into a contract at the time of booking.
By making a booking the Party Leader confirms that they have authority to book on behalf of the party and that all other party members agree that the booking is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Bookings cannot be accepted from parties of young people less than 18 years of age.
You are not permitted to sublet or share the property except with the persons included at the booking or subsequently included by agreement. The maximum number of persons allowed at the property must not be exceeded. We reserve the right to terminate the hire without notice and without refund where this condition is breached.

Cancellation and Insurance:

Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. If for whatever reason you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance. If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it, less a 10% administration fee. Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. For this reason we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.

Non-availability of Accommodation:

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control, then we would refund all monies (including the deposit) paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.


We allow dogs. 1 in Gwalia and up to 2 in Hafan.


Your accommodation will be available to you from 15:00 hrs on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please try not to arrive earlier.


Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10:00 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Please leave the accommodation as clean and tidy as possible.

Damages and Breakages:

Please take care with our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of £25 if you did not report this.


We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.


You must report any problems to us as soon as practicable, and allow us a reasonable time to take corrective action. We will not accept any claims for compensation made after you leave the property if we had not been informed of your displeasure during your stay.
