Introduction
This is small self catering holiday cottage for 6 people and a
young baby. It is situated in the grounds of Pentowyn, shared by the
owners and occupiers of Hafan holiday cottage.
Pre-Arrival
There is no land line in the cottage. Mobile network coverage is
available, with the EE being a good signal. Internet is available
but the speed is poor. The cottage is situated as part of the whole
of Pentowyn, being a former working farm. The village of Llansteffan
is 2 miles away, where there is a shop, restaurant, two pubs, and
beach cafe. There is no dentist, doctor's surgery, vet or pharmacy
in the village. These are available in the nearest town of
Carmarthen which is 10 miles away. There is a railway station and
bus station in Carmarthen. There is a daily bus service to
Carmarthen from the village. There is one step from the car parking
area through the front door, into the lounge. There is one step
from the front door area down into the lounge.
Car Parking
There is a parking area immediately outside the cottage with
security light. Car parking area is gravel.
Main Entrance
There is one step from the main entrance down into the lounge
Lounge/dining/kitchen area
Wood flooring in the lounge. Kitchen/dining area has tiles. Front
door area and downstairs toilet has karndean flooring. Utility room
has tiled flooring. All ground floor rooms have pine doors.
Ground floor bedroom
Ground floor bedroom has carpet. There are two single beds. There are
two sash windows.
Ground floor toilet
Flooring is karndean. There is a small corner hand basin and toilet.

Laundry - ground floor
There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the ground floor
utility room. There is an ironing board and electric steam iron. There
is a washing line to dry clothes outside on the lawn.
1st floor bedrooms
There is one king size bedroom and one twin bedroom. Bedrooms are
carpeted. All doors are pine. Windows are sash style. There is a
wooden cot available for babies.
1st floor - Bathroom, Shower-room and WC
The bathroom has a shower over the bath, WC and pedestal wash basin
Self catering kitchen
Kitchen is equipped with microwave, electric kettle, toaster, electric
oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer.
Attractions
File with tourist information available in the cottage.
Ground and gardens
Patio with paving slabs to the front of the cottage. Level concrete
path around the cottage. Circular wooden table and benches to seat 8
on patio. BBQ available on request. Lawned area to one side of the
cottage and large grass area to the front.
Shop
Nearest shop is in the village, 2 miles away.

Fire alarm and fire extinguisher in lounge/kitchen area
Owners live in adjacent farmhouse and are on call in case of any
problems or emergencies.
